Disable PIP on RoomOS Room Kit Pro

I have a RoomOS Room Kit Pro in a boardroom. PIP is enabled for participants to see the camera feed from a Precision 60 camera which is pointed towards a podium for in-person presentations, while the Quad Camera is showing the boardroom in a wider view. Is there a way to disable the PIP, either from the Room Navigator or from the Control Hub, so that remote participants cannot see the feed from the Precision 60?

You can turn off Selfview from the touch panel.

I'm actually wanting to disable PIP altogether so that it will not be visible to any remote meeting attendees. Turning off self-view only turns it off for the room itself.

Not sure if I fully understand the ask. What do you mean by PIP for the remote end meeting attendees? Can you please elaborate?

For example, in this screenshot of a Webex meeting below with a camera view named 'Boardroom' and in the bottom-right corner of this same 'Boardroom' camera feed we have a PIP showing a secondary camera feed which only pops up when the system detects sound and movement on that side of the room. I would like to disable this PIP to not allow the room system to show the secondary camera view. The Webex navigator in the room itself has Self-View turned off so those in the room cannot see either of these camera views on the room's monitors. Attendees have to join the meeting with a separate device like a laptop in order to see the camera feeds of the room.

Turning off the video during the meeting on the Room Series will turn off both the PIP and the main camera feed. I would like to still be able to see that larger camera feed without the PIP in the corner. I'm guessing this will require a configuration change within the Control Hub or perhaps a macro.

I believe that you can control each video separately.

This is what Googles AI search says on this.

To disable the second camera on a Cisco Room Bar, you need to adjust the video settings within the Webex interface. You can select which camera to use as the primary video source, effectively disabling the other. If you wish to completely turn off video during a call, you can use the video icon in the floating icon tray or the privacy shutter (if available on your specific model).

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
1. Access Video Settings:
  • Navigate to the video settings within the Webex interface. This might be found under "Video" in the navigation sidebar or within the call controls.

2. Choose the Active Camera:
  • Select the desired camera from the "Camera" dropdown list. This will make it the active video source and effectively disable the other camera.

3. Disable Video During a Call (Optional):
  • To turn off video entirely during a call, use the video icon in the floating icon tray. Clicking it will toggle between enabling and disabling video.

  • Some devices, like the Webex Desk series, have a privacy shutter that can be slid to the left to disable the camera.

4. Check for Updates:
  • If you are having trouble finding these options, ensure your device and Webex software are up to date. Recent updates may have introduced new features or changed the location of settings.
