DX80 switch between PC and Phone

Is there an easier way to switch between the PC input and the Phone application on the DX80 other than using the input button on the front of the DX80?  I find it cumbersome to switch constantly when using the DX80 as my primary monitor.  Or, is there a way to force the DX80 task bar on the bottom of the screen while using the PC input mode?

I personally wish I could see the PC input button.

With a Thinkpad T440 and a docking station, I can't extend my PC display onto the DX80 and so I never ge to see the PC input button

Had to patch the docking station:

And now I can see the front PC input mode button which is lightened up but resolution is wrong....
