Handling inbound IP calls to Expressway

Gordon Ross

My Expressway is setup to handle inbound calls to DN@Domain and DN@IP_Addresss for both H.323 & SIP. But some video endpoints can only dial a plain IP address. Obviously, they need to come in via some sort of auto attendant, but how do I match an inbound call with no DN prefix, just an IP Address in Expressway, so I can route the call to an auto attendant?

Thanks,

GTG

For calls to that use the Expressway IP address and doesn't contain an alias, you can use the "Fallback alias" feature to route these calls to an IVR or auto attendant, refer to the Expressway Admin Guide on pg 122.
