Hi all,
does anyone have a document (or pratical experience) on how to make a efective backup on a former TANDBERG Entrypoint 3G?
Thanks

Why do you want to move it into a museum? ;-)

I only know the TANDBERG 3G GW, that has a TSH which you can access with the admin account via ssh
and then simply do the xconfig and xstatus as on other endpoints.
In addition you could try to use scp using the root user.
On the 3G GW you have the following interesting folders/files
/tandberg/etc/ (config folder)
/tmp/local__configuration.xml (config xml file)
Let us know if this also fits the Entrypoint.

yes, it is old... but it is up and running in a customer
the scp and ssh works (using 3DES) and we usually copy the xconf and some files
Customized prompts are stored in \tmp\hd\uploads\sources\1 and we need to mannualy copy them too
I was just looking if someone have "an official procedure" or tool on how to make a backup, because the Entrypoint guides don´t explain how to make the backup and the web interface don´t include a tool.
Thanks
