¿How we can access Cisco TAC?

Hi!

Our final goal is to get access to Cisco TAC.   We are/were TANDBERG certified partner.  Now, we don't have any acces to TAC cause we don't know the NEW contract number of our Customers.  We tried to update them in the Profile Manager, but does not work.   ¿Who can help us to fix the problem?  We have Serial number's; in TANDBERG world the serial numbert was enought to get acces to TANDBERG's TAC.   Finally we have problems with Movi Integration from internet Access.

Waiting, for coment's...

Have you met your Channel/Partner Account Manager (PAM) yet? There's a lookup tool if you're unsure who it is: http://tools.cisco.com/WWChannels/CAMLOC/jsp/cam_locator.jsp

They would probably be your best bet to get this straightened out. If that doesn't work the Partner Relations Team would be your next bet to get connected with the appropriate resources.

Hi,

You can access TAC as long as you have a valid service contract

If you had previously service contract active on your devices, all those service contract should have  been migrated to the new CISCO tools, and you should have received a  "welcome letter"

This was supposed to be something around those words :

"

The combination of the Cisco and TANDBERG portfolio of products and  services brings superior experience and innovation to business video  systems and networks, and the next step of integrating our technical  support tools and processes will help ensure that we address your needs  more quickly and effectively.

Looking forward, our goal is to empower you to effectively manage  service renewals and support requests for products covered by service  agreements with Cisco. As for the service that follows each request, you  can count on the same responsive and thorough support that you have  always received.

Your New Cisco Service Agreement

The migration of your TANDBERG service agreements has been completed,  and your new renewal and support process is effective immediately. You  will now use Cisco Service Contract Center to view, manage, and renew  services that were migrated into the Cisco installed base system.  Although your TANDBERG service agreements will be assigned new Cisco  contract numbers, the serial numbers will remain the same in the Cisco  tools. You will be responsible for providing service quoting, ordering  and support for products to your customers.

Access your new contract numbers in Cisco Service Contract Center by following these steps:

  1. Go into the Cisco Service Contract Center. Click on "Launch Tool."

http://www.cisco.com/web/services/ordering/cscc/index.html

  1. Click the Search CSCC drop-down at the upper right of the screen.
  2. Select a search parameter (for example, serial number, PAK number, instance number, contract number, estimate/quote number).
  3. Enter a corresponding value in the adjacent field.
Note: Enter just one value; Search CSCC does not accept multiple  values. To search multiple values, use the Advanced Search feature.
  4. Click "Go." If results are found, a summary details or line items  screen is shown, depending on whether the results are single or multiple  items, and whether the associated products are covered or uncovered.
  5. If no results are found, recheck your data and try your search again.
  6. If you are still having trouble finding data previously entitled  through TANDBERG systems, open a case with the Service Support Center  following the instructions below.

Service Support Center

For questions about service quoting, ordering, or contract management, open a case with the

Service Support Center  at :

http://forums.cisco.com/ecom/web/service-support-center

When opening a case with the Service Support Center, click "Get Help."  Note: In the "Subject" field, include your Partner Company name and when  appropriate the Contract Number. In the "Category" drop down, select  "General Information" then "TANDBERG". You can also specify "Quoting" or  "Support." This will enable agents to quickly recognize and address  your question.
