Is it possible to set a maximum resolution on Jabber for Windows via CUCM?

Hi everyone,

Let's assume that I'm not interested in any user using Jabber for Windows at a higher resolution than 448p for bandwidth reasons, is it possible to enforce this through CUCM? I'm not referring to a location based solution where it looks at the maximum allowed video between two locations. I'm referring to per Jabber client so that as many users as possible can video call over the WAN. The deployment is On-prem.

If there is a solution to this, would it also apply to other Cisco video endpoints?

Thanks!

Not AFAIK, CUCM treats that as Video, so it would be subject to location and region settings.

What of an IOS/IOS-XE based solution at the site's WAN? Would UBRLs per client give the desired effect or would the video resolution be negotiated as higher than what I want and then I'd have unwanted drops? Perhaps you have another QOS based solution :)
