jabber client cannot communicate with server

Hello All, 

please i seem to have an issue with my jabber client on windows 

not registering to the cucm 12.0x. it is giving a message of 'cannot register to server'

We are not using DNS for query just IP, dont know if there is somewhere in 

the cucm that we need to tweak.

This could be any number of things:

Is this Jabber in Full-UC mode (softphone and presence) or IM-Only or Phone-Only?

Since you are not using DNS, what IP are you pointing to? (What system?)

Is the user: 1) Owner of the Jabber softphone, 2) Control the Softphone in their end-user account, 3) Have the "Home Cluster" checkbox checked in their end-user account, 4) A member of the Standard CCM End-Users access control group? 5) Have a service profile assigned?

That is a start. With this information, we can help figure this out.
