Hi,
I am noticing we are facing more and more content issues of late with TP endpoints and our MCU8510. I have been testing all of the 3 types offered (passthrough, transcoded & hybrid) on the MCU, however, I find that across the range of units we have (C40, MX300, SX20, SX10) one of these isn't going to support content with the MCU message being "Content tx: no common formats" however, all of my TP devices are running either 7.2.1 or 7.3.7. 1 on 1 connections not using the MCU they support content, but as soon as it touches the bridge it doesn't. The MCU is running 4.5(1.89) What is worse is these units vary based on selecting hybrid, transcoded and passthrough from swapping which units show the content to some of them (C40's mostly) being very blurry.
Am I looking at a MCU issue here or an endpoint configuration issue do you think? I cant seem to narrow it down, and depending what option I select on the MCU (hybrid, passthrough, transcoded) I break content for someone. Having such limited content settings on the MCU there isn't a lot that can be wrong here, which makes me feel its an endpoint issue, but again there is very little to configure here too.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Alex

Have you tried upgrading the MCU to a Telepresence server version (4.x)?

Sorry Dennis misinterperted the question. I am still running the traditional MCU firmware on it because we utilise the auto attendant and the TPS didn't offer that functionality along with some of the views which we utilise. I should have mentioned that I am running MUC 4.5 (1.89) on it already too.
Thanks
Alex
