Mouting Cisco Spark Kit media bar under existing screen?

Hi all

I have a Cisco Spark Kit media bar which I would like to attach to the base of an exitsing screen. The screen is too high to allow the media bar to be mounted on top of the screen.  The screen is also attached to an articulated bracket meaning the screen can be moved so ideally the media bar should move with it. The screen also sits a fair distance (may 150mm) off the wall so if the Spark Kit is "wall mounted" below it sits in a shadow.

Is there a mounting solution which anyone is aware off which can enable the media bar for the Cisco Spark Kit to be placed below a screen and for the cables under neath the media bar (which would normally be hidden if it was mounted on top of the screen) to be well concealed? It is kind of leaning towards a wall mount box of some description.

Would be great to hear your suggestions. I am ideally looking for something which can be purchased "off the shelf" from the Cisco store rather than custom designing something.

The room kit is designed to be installed above, not below the screen (the camera is angled to be above), and Cisco does not have any mounting hardware to attach it to a screen from below. Looking at your picture, I think mounting below would be too low - ideally this screen should be somewhat lower with the Room Kit on top of it - can you change it?

Is this what you are looking for? the camera can be mounted under the TV.

As @PJMack pointed out, the Webex Room Kit endpoints are designed to be mounted above the screen and angled downwards to get the best view of the room.

If you have to mount them below the screen, there are third party options available (as per the avteq one), but the view from that camera location isn't optimal.

I would recommend, as others have, that you lower the display so the bottom of it is closer to table height and mount the Room Kit above the screen as intended.

Please remember to mark helpful responses and to set your question as answered if appropriate.

We have several mounted below displays, and the angle is almost technology transparent.

Hi All

Thanks the the helpful responses. Just as an update, we managed to lower the TV slightly so the top of the TV was 217cm from the ground. This is higher than the recommended max height in the manual for the Spark Kit. The media bar was angled down as much as practical with the existing mounting kit and the viewing angle is surprisingly great!

Very happy with how this turned out!

Bravo Jen1!

I find this company has Great accessories for Cisco Room Kits - clean looking, quality products: RC-CUBBY-RK™ Cubby Wall Mount - Sound Control Technologies

Also - where there's a will there's a way - I find just using some spare parts and the tv's mount itself, you can get creative and mount under tv too - we do this sometimes especially with shorter rooms where mounting on top of the large display will get that eagle view down that alot of people dont like - having the camera right under the display gives a more natural view of faces etc
