MRA + Dedicated TFTP Server

Hi, folks

I am trying to deploy MRA in an environment wit ha dedicated TFTP. Dedicated TFTP means CUCM running the TFTP service only (no CUCM service).

The server is not discovered by Exp-C, if the CUCM service is not running. I am avoiding to enable the cucm service on this server because I am very close to the maximum of call control number.

I've tried to create HTTP allow list, but the Exp-C just try to get the xml file from the servers auto-discovered,

Some have been deployed MRA using a dedicated TFTP server?

Hi,

MRA is used for to remotely register your Jabber/endpoints to CUCM without a VPN.

So without Call manager service it will not work.

But if you don't want to use calling services you should not associate device/phone profile to your end users and by that way they will only use IM&P.

You can also use service profile for IM&P only.
