MX 700 & 800 Directory List

Hello All,

we have installed few MX Series TP systems in our organization, I would like to know whether the directory list could be copied from one system to another?

We have a MX700 with the full list of TP systems in our Org and we would like to replicate the same list in others as well.

Does your directories/contacts list were manually added on your endpoint?

Do you have a Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS)? This will provide a centralize management of phonebooks and directories and automatically push the entries to your video endpoints.

If you don't have one, manual intervention would be the process.

Hello Acevirgil,

Yes, we do have a TMS, but the service provider doesn't encourage it to avoid the direct  point to point calls, hence would like to know how to do by ourself.

For manual intervention, you can export the contacts from the endpoint to a file and import to another endpoint.

Login as admin on the system's web interface.

See this guide and refer to page 31.

Yes, look like I need to move the list one by one to the local contacts from the directory and export it.
