For MX200, is the port marked "For maintenance only" the console port? Since the package didn't came with any console cable, I used the usual console access with the 38400 baud, but not successful.
I changed the baud to 9600 via SSH, the same! The "xoncifuration" shown the SerialPort Mode is on. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Hi Jack,
Yes, the maintenance port is the one used. Are you using an RJ45 to COM cable ? I am not very sure about the specifications but the serial cable is a special one. It should be similar to the one used by Ex90. Please refer to the following document :
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-24305
Once you have done that. You might use COM to USB converter as the laptops these days do not have a COM port. If that's the case, make sure that you install the driver for the COM to USB converter otherwise it will not work.
Please let me know if you have any other query.

I think I would be more happy if a proper serial port with standard rs232 levels would be found on the endpoints, ....

RJ45-DSub9pin serial adapter mention in https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-24305 works for EX90, EX60, MX200 and MX300.
All C-series default console baud rate is 38400.
