New life for our TelePresence MX300 G2.

Hi,

We currently have [only] a TelePresence MX300 G2.

 

We used the mx300 a lot in the past. Not by me actually, have no experience with it.

 

After a lot of 'events' in the last few years [physicals move, reorganization, smaller teams] the mx300 just stands there doing nothing.

We didn't need it during the pandemic years having everyone working from home but now everyone is [somehow] returning to office so we wonder how we can still use this device.

Like I said, I've no experience with it but I manage to perform a factory reset [admin password was lost] so far and have connection to it troughs the browser. And there it ends.

 

We want to use the device again but since the whole work infrastructure changed lately now we only want to use on two ways:

  • to present something from your computer during meetings in the same room [kinda additional, big, screen]
  • To integrate it somehow to MS Teams so we can have the teams screen [with all participants] on the device and use the camera. 

 

Would you be able to help me out or point a direction to,

  1. Update it to the latest firm/software [if needed] and where to get it
  2. Set it up so we can use the device as mentioned on the two points above

 

Some remarks/clarifications

We don't have any support contract anymore.

We don't use Webex anymore.

We don't have any expert for it in house anymore.
