No Http response after switching system connectivity to Reachable on LAN

After adding an MXP codec to my Network and editing the system settings in TMS I could not connect b/c it was preset to "Behind Firewall."

When I change the connectivity in TMS to Reachable on LAN i get a system status of No Http response. And then lose the ability to adjust system settings in TMS. Do i need to adjust the http and https ports? If so, I can't find where to do this in the codec settings nor in TMS.

I'm only new to troubleshooting Tandberg Codecs, and am more familiar with the Polycom environment.

Hi the connectivity is set to behind firewall since the ip that is configured on the endpoint does not match the ip of the packet source address that the tms receives. This means that there is natting going on somewhere. Communication is http/https.

And since tms is unable to reach it as "reachable on lan" it will turn to no http response.

I'm not saying that this is what is going on but its very likely based on your description. Purge the system from

Tms, Start a wireshark trace on the tms server, add the system, look at what ip the response from the endpoint is coming from. Does it match the endpoint ip?
