I have recently migrated to CUCM 8.6 and started registering TC5 endpoints on it. My initial idea was to keep the the phonebok on the TMS, but I have not been able to do it. Is there anyway to point the EX90 for example to the TMS link?
My second option was to do the directory in the CUCM via end users, which I don't like as I am not able to make folders to keep the directory clean. I have many external endpoints that I access via IP that I want to put into the directory, so I have have to dial them with the number "h323:1.1.1.1" but when I do this the h323 tag, dissapears on the EX90, so I am not able to call.
Any ideas for this? My first option would be to use TMS, as I think is much better for the phonebook provisioning.
Thanks

Hi,
To use CUCM as phonebook you can use following configuration on your endpoint:
*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 ID: "default"
*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 Type: CUCM
*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 URL: "https://IPaddressofcucm:8443/cucm-uds/users"
or
you can use following configuration for TMS:
*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 ID: "default"
*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 Type: TMS
*c xConfiguration Phonebook Server 1 URL: "http://IPaddressoftms/tms/public/external/phonebook/phonebookservice.asmx"
You can configure using Web Interface as well.

Vivek
