POE Mode B (midspan) devices can be powered directly on C2960X-48FPD

I have an POE device that needs to receive power on pins 4, 5, 7 and 8 (Mode B/midspan), but when I connect this device on my WS-C2960X-48FPD-L nothing happens.
Do you guys have a clue if this Mode B (midspan) it is supported by this switch model or/and if I have to make any special configuration ?

I believe it does support.

When you connect this POE device to the switch, what is the status of the interface ?

Did you turn on the POE feature ? 

Switch(config)#int gi 0/1

Switch(config-if)#power inline auto

Switch(config-if)#exit

When I connect the device the status remains down down.
The "power inline auto" is the default state, but I also configured "power inline auto" and "power inline static" for test purpose and nothing happened.
