Is the HDMI output the only output possible on the Quickset C20 or is it also possible to output the signal over ETHERNET  to an computer view the video in a screen/ software program? At the moment we have an interactive digi board and i also want to output the video conferrence on the right side of the screen so i still can presentations on the left side of the screen.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

Hi,

I see what you mean.  You only have 1 big screen and you wanted to have the presentation and video on the same screen side by side.

For video conferencing software, we have the CISCO MOVI which is a PC based video conferencing system.  But do not think this can achieve what you want.

If you are using C40, C60 or C90, you can using the TC console (an application tools) to composite your layout to actually acheive what you want.  Unfortunately, C20 does not allow compositing of video layouts.

Hi,

Is not possible to output the signal over ethernet to a computer.

Not sure if I understand your question correctly.  If you want to display VC on right screen and presentation on left screen, you can use the dual monitor option of the codec (you need the dual display option key).  With that, HDMI output 1 and 2 can be connected to the display and  the video will be display on 1 screen and presentation on another screen.

I understand what you mean with the dual screen feature. but the problem is we have an 100" HD board interactive (short trow beamer) so the idea was to put the presentation on the left part of the 100" board and interactive change the presentation and on the right site of the board we could  put the videoconference.

Is it also possible to connect the HD cam from the set directly to a computer to use it as an expensive Webcam so to say?

What about videoconferencing software that can communicate with the quikset on the other end of the line?
