SX20 shows "snapshot requires remote monitoring option key" . but I have not received any option key with the feature remote monitoring option key from Cisco. some other link says remote monitoring option will require additional cost from January 1st 2016 . Now my question is how to I enable it and if it requires cost than what is the part number for remote monitoring option key..

The requirement to have a Remote Monitoring Option Key installed to see the snapshots of the cameras and content on the Call Control page of the Web Interface was introduced in software release TC7.3.3. If you're running a software release prior to this, then you will be able to see the snapshots without such a key installed.
To get the Remote Monitoring Key, you need to purchase it from Cisco, it's around US$100 list price per endpoint.
The licence you want can be found under the top level SKU L-TP-RM. Then pick L-C-SERIES-RM, L-MX-SERIES-RM, L-SX-SERIES-RM, L-EX-SERIES-RM or L-PROF-SERIES-RM underneath, depending on which model endpoint you need it for.
There are quite a number of people in the forums who see this as nothing but a money grab from Cisco as they're now charging for a feature that should be free.
This has been discussed many times in these forums before - some sample links about this functionality, the licences required, and issues with the functionality are:

It's well hidden. See the TC7 Software Release Notes, page 18.
You need the L-TP-RM parent ID, then the L-SX-SERIES-RM option for the SX series.
Not sure about other currencies, but it's ~$117 CAD at the moment.

A few months ago I had the same doubt.
The remote monitoring feature was for free until release T.C7.3.2 and since then (T.C 7.3.3 or later ) you are required to pay for it.
