Remote access for a SX-20

Good afternoon.

I would like to understand if it is possible to remotelly control SX-20 from other location. That means, to access from a distant location to the SX-20 and be able to control it to move camera, focus, control audio, etc....

Appart from using the web interface of the administrator tool of the SX-20, (which will require a VPN connection from the distant location to the SX-20, and also will require administrative access - profile)  is any other way to do it?

Thank you for your help

Far end camera control (if it's enabled, which it is by default) is an in call feature. Focus is automatic. No web GUI required for either of those. But muting, unmuting, volume, etc? Web GUI or SSH would be required, so you would need an IP route from a laptop to do it.

You can do it either via the Web Interface, or via the CLI (ssh, telnet or xAPI).  Depending on the level of control of the device you want, you do not need to have full admin rights, just a "user" or "integrator" level account will work for most of what you have mentioned.
