The activation code is only needed if you are registering the endpoint to the Webex Cloud. Did you also request this as part of the Try and Buy, or did you get it as an On-Prem registered endpoint?
If On-prem, you can skip the startup wizard and configure the device via the web interface or your call control platform.
If you are Cloud registering the device, contact whomever you organised the Try and Buy from, and they should be able to assist you with the required setup.
