Hello, reading the datasheet and admin guides of a Roomkit EQ lead us to interpret that it cames with HDMI audio out, but after some tests our technician found that the audio is not working on HDMI outputs, only the embedded QuadCam speakers provides audio, plus line out. The problem with the line out is that by default it is not controlled by the Navigator default volume adjustments.
The EQ have an integrator option, but it is not very clear if it is required to have the audio output at HDMIs, where the TV is connected for example. The command "xConfiguration Audio Output HDMI [n] Mode" is there and the API documentation doesn´t inform any requirements to use it, so, the audio is On at HDMI 1 output but doesn´t work.
It look like a basic feature that should work, but maybe someone knows if it is a documentation issue or if it should work?
PD: This post https://community.cisco.com/t5/telepresence-and-video-infrastructure/room-kit-no-audio-over-hdmi/td-p/4002293 says that RoomKit doesn´t provide audio on HDMI output. It is not the same case, because EQ docs says yes, but it adds an extra complication layer of the integrator Option key, the leads to confusion.
Edit: We did the same tests with a RoomKit Plus and the Plus codec allow us to turn Off embedded speakers and send the audio via HDMI 1 without any extra paid option key. To send the audio via HDMI is a very basic feature and the competitors can use this limitation as an advantage when presenting to RFP/RFQ. This should be revised ASAP.
Thanks

After to open a TAC case the device was reseted to factory defaults, and after provisioned the technician connected directly to the web GUI and disabled the ARC output. The HDMI audio out worked as expected whit ARC Off. No need of Integrator option for this scenario.
