Hi,
When i make a call using SIP X-Lite SoftPhone to a hardphone behind Cisco Router + PBX i am getting a media attribute which is causing trouble. How do i get CN/8000 Media Filed in the Media Attribute removed ??
c=IN IP4 172.16.13.87
a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000
PCMU/8000 is G711ulaw.

Hi,
What is the other end-point ? X-lite is know to work with cisco.
If need something changed in X-lite you have to check with counterpath

hi,
x-lite softphone<--IP-->SIP Server<--IP-->Cisco Voice Gateway Router<--E1-->PBX<--4Wire-->Digital TDM Phone
The SDP & Attributes for Media is coming from Cisco Router, so no changes are required from X-lite

Hi,
I guess you are referring to the SDP part present in calls from "cisco voice gateway router" to x-lite.
In fact it is correct that the router is presenting these and in my expereince X-lite has no problem in answering the call as long PCM codec is configured in there.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
