Could anyone tell me whether it is possible to Smallcast a program which you receive from Smallcast?
i.e. New York IPTV -> London IPTV -> Madrid IPTV -> multicast
So, in the situation above, London IPTV receives a small cast program from New York, and London, in turn, small casts the program out to Madrid.
In our experience, we do receive the smallcast in London (from New York), and we can multicast it around London, but we cannot smallcastit over to Madrid.
Has anyone else had any success in 'smallcasting a smallcast'?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
James.

You'll probably need to talk to Cisco on this one. It's not clear if it's possible. I doubt it but worth a check. Let me know what you come up with.

I've heard rumours that if you use version 3.4 of the Content Manager, then 'cascading' smallcasts are possible. We're upgrading and I'll let you know if we have any luck!

Smallcast relays are specifically mentioned (can do) in the 3.4 docs. I don't have the reference available, but I "fer sher" have seen it.
If I can come up with the specific reference, I'll post it.
Good Luck
Scott
