Good morning,
We have an SX20 endpoint that gets stuck on the Cisco loading screen when booting up. Attempted a factory reset with no success. Verified good physical connectivity. Is this system essentially dead in the water? Corrupted firmware? Looking to exhaust all possible troubleshooting methods before we take it behind the barn. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Are there any red warning lights or anything visible on the front, if everything (camera, network, etc) is connected and it does't go past the loading screen, and a factory reset didn't resolve the issue, you more than likely will need to request for an RMA. One last thing to check is see if it has obtained an IP address from the DHCP server, you might be able to access it's web interface, and if so, you could try a software upgrade.

Thanks, Patrick. No red lights; can't ping via its old IP or hostname. Unfortunately, the warranty is no longer valid. I'm thinking the best we can do is simply replace the system and bring it in for us to tinker with to see if we can figure out what's going on.
