It depends on what SX device you are talking about. If you have a C series or SX20 or SX80, you can indeed place one video call and one audio call without the optional Multisite (built in MCU) key. No third party MCU required. The SX10, however, does not have the horsepower to support two calls at once, so this feature is not on the SX10.
