SX20/C - systems - Content resolutions w/o PR option

Hi All!

Want to check if someone has more information about which resolutions that is supported in the content channel on a SX20 and C-systems, without PR options available?

Problem:

Customer has the need to connect to a Polycom RMX 2000 where they are showing a lot of presentations during conferences. About a year ago they had a problem with recieving presentation on their C-systems. Appeared as distorted picture / pixelation. They solved this by disabling annex t and forced the outgoing content to XGA for the whole MCU, which is affecting all other participants too.

Recently the same customer bought an SX20 system and the same problem appear again. Cst is connecting to a Polycom RMX 2000, where they have forced the content resolution to XGA 1024*768. But when the Cst is recieving this it connects at 1024*768, but keeps on getting a distorted content picture.

After looking around a little, it seems SX20 w/o PR can only support up to 720p, which means 1024*768 wont work. But 1280*720 or 1024*576 will.

So what im after is finding a way where both their C and SX system will be able to recieve the best possible picture without buying the PR option. Or if anyone has a suggestion for a workaround or something else.

Cheerios!

Johan,

Firstly, is this call going through the MCU? Try the call without the MCU in call and check what happens.

Also, check the command:

'xConfiguration Conference 1 VideoBandwidth PresentationChannel Weight: <1...10>' to check the bandwidth distribution between the main channel and the presentation channel.

Thanks,

Shilpa
