I have an SX20 registered to CUCM 10.5. The SX20 is running TC7 and when it tries to call another SX20 registered to the same CUCM, the call does not complete and we are seeing a malformed SIP packet on the INVITE. The reject reason is Invalid SDP header.
The two SX20s are in Houston and Hartford. The Houston SX20 does not have any issues calling. I am not sure what would be causing this. Any thoughts?

robert

TC7 or some sub version, both on the same?
Do you use TLS or TCP? Any firewall with ALG or other SIP functions present which can mess something up?
Is the same sip profile used on both? Any settings different? Purely managed by CUCM
or is there also some connection to TMS?
Did you compare the xconfig on both endpoints?

As Martin has suggest (+5 to him) it's highly likely that you have something in your WAN that is interfering, either ALG, Packet Inspection, WAN optimisation, etc. Try to disable any of this for these SIP traffic flows.
