SX20 multisite deployement

Hello,

I'm looking for a design based on SX20 and SX10 Telepresence solutiion to provide a Multisite Video conferencing.

The architecture is based on a one central site and two remote offices that are connected to each other via VPN.

What are the Telepresence Video Hardware requirements to provide a Multisite/ multi participante solution mixed with SX20, SX10 and Cisco Jabber Video softphone?

What do you have for call control?

If you have the multisite option on the SX20, you should be able to conference in up to 3 other endpoints. You could also look at a MCU or Telepresence server but that starts becoming expensive.

We have one CME on a remote site but other sites including centrale site using legacy PBX.

Can we use a Jabber Video softphone without a CVS or CUCM?

Hi,

For SX10 you need deploy CUCM or VCS for call control.

For multisite call you can use embedded function multisite your SX20.

So you need just to deploy only SX20 for each sites?

What about Jabber Soft phone?

You can use SX20 on each site without deploy CUCM or VCS.

If you need SX10 or Jabber softphone you must deploy CUCM.

Maybe public Jabber www.ciscojabbervideo.com resolve your issue if you don't want deploy CUCM.

SX20 must use public IP and H323  call protocol.
