SX20 remote speaker volume through SX20 adjustment

Everything is working on our SX20, but all speakers on the remote end of a WebEx call come through locally very faint.  If i turn the one master volume at the Touch 10 controller, and at the HDI display, the volume goes up slightly, but it the sound of the ring during start is really loud.  Too loud.

Is there some way to increase the volume of the inbound audio from the remote callers without blowing out the speakers in the display during a ring during the start of the call?

Note:  If i have those same users call into a laptop running Webex, the volume is fine at the laptop speakers or through the HDMI display speakers.  If i use a competitive codec, with the same HDMI display and speakers, all the sound is fine.

Make sure you're not turning all the volumes up too much, and so much that the endpoint is echo cancelling itself, this would cause the far end to sound too quiet.

Try turning all the volumes down and then ramping each up slowly to see if you can find a good balance in your room.

As a general rule, we set the SX20 volume to 50%, then adjust the TV volume up from 0 to a suitable level and then tell people not to use the TV volume after it's been set and only adjust with the SX20 volume control.

wadenardi  The simple techniques that you recommended made a significant improvement in the overall sound experience.  Not perfect, but much better.  Thank you.
