SX80 HDMI 2 output not enabled even when on

Hello,

I have an sx80 that is currently on 7.3.3 code and it is not outputting any audio via hdmi 2.  I did all the standard troubleshooting swapping cables moving over to hdmi 1 etc.  I have confirmed all is working via hdmi but not hdmi 1 on multiple systems. When using TC console you can see the port being activated and deactivated when we change the setting but nothing happens. 

once we added the connector xCommand Audio LocalOutput AddConnector OutputId:5 ConnectorType:"HDMI" ConnectorId:2  all worked fine.

Is this normal behavior?

Looks like audio via HDMI2 is not enabled by default, and must be enabled using the command you reference.

sx80-codec-hdmi2-output-dont-have-audio

Also, HDMI audio on the inputs are the same way, CSCur36318.

The xCommand resolved my audio issue on HDMI 2 as well.  However the command did not persist after a reboot and had to be executed again.  Is there a command to save this configuration such that it remains after a reboot?

You can try using one of the below options:

TC software

• Configuration > Security > Non-persistent Mode
• Configuration > Startup Scripts

CE software

• Security > Non-persistent Mode
• Integration > Startup Scripts
• Integration > Macro Editor (CE9.2 and later)
