Hi,
We are facing a specific need with a customer. They have Tandberg Edge 95 MXP, that connects to another one to a remote site, and Lotus Sametime Standard 8.5.2 deployed. They need to integrate their Tandberg endpoints (Edge 95 MXP) with Sametime, as if the Tandberg user became a registred Sametime user, and could initiate video calls. is it this possible? Is there any solution that can meet this need? Thanks for your help.

As you did not wrote anything about the video deployment, maybe you should check in a sametime forum
if its possible to register generic sip devices to sametime or which other options you have.
I once helped some colleges testing sametime with the VCS and an MCU which worked.
Possibly it might work to wards an MXP endpoint as well, but be aware that you will need to have a VCS and
if you want to enable SIP on an MXP endpoint I would not go below F8.3.
In general the VCS can nicely integrate with 3rd party sip systems, incl. sametime which is also listed in its datasheet.
Here is a demo regards an EX90:

Thank you Martin for your quick reply. In fact, they only have the MXP endpoints (in an ad hoc connection mode), without a server...So to be able to do this integration, it's necessary to purchase a VCS server?
