We have this device that shows the next leyend " Can not receive or make calls. Network option is not installed. Install bandwith option" Loking for options I found the next ones:

Table 3. Ordering Information

Product Name Part Number Compliance Model Number

Cisco TelePresence Edge 95 MXP CTS-EDGE95-K9 TTC7-14

Comes with: Edge MXP codec, 512 kbps ISDN/2 Mbps IP bandwidth, Natural Presenter Package, MultiSite, Cisco

TelePresence PrecisionHD Camera 720p, 1 microphone, remote control

Video Standard Options - Choose One

CTS-NTSC for Edge MXP CTS-NTSC

PAL Option for Edge MXP CTS-PAL

First of all, is this problem related to licences?... Someone can guide to me to know what is that option (in case of that was the problem) ?...

thank you so much

Hi Ing,

It seems to be some contractual issues, for which you need to open a TAC case due to the data integrity/security reason.

may be it will not be supported as per the current status however there are always alternatives.

I can give you an overview.

this device is not showing any contract ,and was unable to find any sales order number , probably you can provide that as you would have the purchase documents for this device.

you can reach to the accounts manager for your firm who manages the updation of the contracts as this

as of now there in only one key associated that is the product key and is installed to make it Edge 95

no other options generated

as i do not have the SO or PO number cannot check if there was any other option purchased ,

you can reach to the cisco sales centre for any further keys purchases , or your accounts team

Thanks

Hi Inggerardo,

are you trying to make IP -IP call or ISDN call ?

did you configured the system for same like, ip settings and ISDN settings ?

Hi Amit

We get to factory defaults, and the calls are IP-IP..

Licencing problem? or configuration problem?...

any input will be very apreciated

Open a telnet session and type xstatus systemunit and paste the result here.

"We get to factory defaults,"

Did you reset the unit to factory defaults? If so, all the option keys needs to re-installed.

Hi Jens,

this is the output showed:

Hi Ing,
The device comes with the mentioned keys however you need to  install/update the keys on the codec when a new install or after a  factory reset you need to go to the system setting and put the bandwidth  option keys under bw option tab and you would be good to go as, with out any bandwidth key installed this device will not be able to make  any calls

this is a license configuration problem as it is not updated on the codec.

Hope this would resolve ur problem

Thanks

Go to www.cisco.com/go/license

Login with your CCO ID, then go to Get Existing > TANDBERG License

You should be able to put in the serial number and get the original release/option keys.

This is the email that we receive from Cisco:

You have received this email because your email address was provided to Cisco Systems during the Serial Number Lookup process for software license activation key/file.  Please read this email carefully and forward it with any attachments to the proper system administrator if you are not the correct person.

Also, Cisco did not provide us the bandwith key, maybe because we do not have it, how can we know if device was purchased with this one?...
