I can't comment on this directly, I've never had to request the remotesupport account.. yet. However, I've seen on many instances where people are doing exactly what you mention, uploading phone books to endpoints, it would be nice if there was an upload feature in the TC software for the local phone book. So that users can simply upload there own phone book directly the endpoint from the web interface.
