If i were looking at buying the Telepresence 500 from scratch. what would i need? and more importantly, how much would it cost?

Depends on how much Cisco gears you have been recently purchased or planning to purchase.  If you have substantial amount of kits coming, your authorized Cisco reseller or Cisco Sales Engineer might be able to provide some special "discount".  *wink*, *wink*
