Using IP camera for meetings....

Hey there,

I am wanting to host some meetings at my hospital, but i dont want to invest in the Telepresence (we dont have VOIP). Anyway, if I were to create a seperate VLAN and just host the camera on this network, what kind of setup could i use? Any ideas?

What's your network like?
How will it handle multi-cast?
What about audio?

I am not sure what you mean by what kind of network i have...? A little more specific please...

Also we do not use any multicast in the building but i know we have more than enough bandwidth..we are fiber all the way from the Core router to the closets, then just 3750G switches...

THe questions you asked, are the main questions i need to know...

I guess if i get an IP camera, then i just get some desk microphones for the audio...
