Can someone clarify whether TMS 14.2 can now schedule meetings through Conductor XC2.0 to make us of the resource optimization for TelePresence Server.
The TMS 14.2 release notes state:
Cisco TMS now supports scheduling conferences with Cisco TelePresence Conductor XC1.2.
And the TMS 14.1 admin guides as well as the Conductor deployment guides for CUCM and VCS seem to imply scheduled calls are not yet supported.
any additional input is appreciated.
thx,
rob

Scheduled calls between TMS and Conductor has been supported since TMS 14.1 and Conductor XC1.2, per each of their repective release notes.
TelePresence Server is now supported by Condcutor since XC2.0, and resource optimization is between the Conductor and TP Server, when TP Server is in "Remotly Managed" mode, per the XC2.0 release notes.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
TMS 14.2 has limited support for the Conductor XC 2.0, and scheduling a TelePresence Server behind a Conductor is currently not supported in TMS.
Full support for scheduling the TS in remotely managed mode will come in TMS 14.3 in July.

Kjetil,
Do you have additional details on the limited scheduling support for TP server with the versions listed above? My customer is trying to transition from CTS-Manager to TMS and we're hoping to make it as smooth a transition as possible.
Thx,
Rf

Hi,
"Limited support" was not a good choice of words. I should have said "not supported"; even though some features may work, it is not systematically tested and documented. The TAC is likely to deny configuration assistance in case something breaks — not a situation we want to put your customer in.
As of TMS 14.2, we only support the Conductor XC 1.2. Your customer should wait for TMS 14.3 and Conductor XC 2.2 (July).
Regards,
Kjetil
