TMS 15.2.1 Load Balancer redundancy KEEPALIVE Timer

Deploying TMS in Active Standby.  Team deploying the GTM(?) load Balancers are asking a question.  They need to know what the time on the Keepalive between the two TMS servers needs to be set at. Does anyone know what should be the timeout for the keepalive between the TMS Servers?  Reviewed documentation and cannot find an actual time.

thank you.

The NLB should send all traffic to whichever is the active TMS node, whenever a failover occurs, the active node then becomes the passive node, and the NLB should then immateriality start to send traffic to the new active node as the passive node's services will go into standby.  To understand how TMS behaves in a redundant environment, suggest you take a look at the "Setting up a Redundant Deployment " section in the TMS 15.2 Install Guide starting on pg 26.  Part of setting up redundant TMS servers is to have the NLB monitor a Probe URL, mentioned on pg 30, you should have the NLB send all incoming requests to whichever server replies with HTTP 200, as this will be the active node.
