We are running TMS 15.4 with approximatly 800 endpoints.
These endpoints are a mix of MXP, C Series and MX series.
These end endpoints are either SIP only of Dual (H.323/SIP) registered.
Corp Directory works great on all endpoints from both the handheld remote and Touch 8/10
We are using the TMS database as the data source for the phonebooks and when we look in TMS and look at the Phonebooks/Manage Phonebooks/View contacts... we see the following:
SIP only registered units have two addresses listed:
SIP = last.first@domain.com
IP = 11.11.11.11
Dual registered (H323/SIP) units have four addresses listed:
SIP = last.first@domain.com
IP = 11.11.11.11
H323ID = 1234567890@domain.com
H323 (E164) = 1234567890
The problem that we are having is:
When a VTC system that is integrated with a Crestron tounch panel uses the directory through the Crestron... It appears to try and make a SIP call to the IP address listing and the call fails.
One of the two possible fixes are:
1 - Eliminate the IP address listing from the TMS phonebook
2 - Fix the crestron so it dials the SIP address rather than the IP address
Any feedback or comments would be appreciated
