We are using Booking API of TMS and while editing the Conference from the API, we see that the TMS books 3 Video and 2 Audio ports for a conference, where we have requested 5 Audio ports.
If we delete 5 Audio Participants, the TMS releases 3 Video and 2 Audio ports.
Will TMS do this in any case.? What are they..?
Can i get the Activities of Booking API anywhere in TMS.?
TMS is running TMS 14.1.1

Hi,
Are you talking about booking SIP audio dial ins and dial outs? These options were added to the booking API in version 14.2, and cannot be used in version 14.1.1.

Yes, that should work.
Which API function do you use, SaveConference? Can you show me an example (i.e. the SOAP header and body) of a SaveConference call that goes wrong?

Hi,
You seem to do everything correctly when saving your conference; if I do the exact same SaveConference call, TMS reserves the correct ports.
I think you should open a TAC case for further troubleshooting.

Hi Kjetil,
Does the edit also works fine for your - because we have issue only with edit.
Is there any logs in TMS, where i can track the activities of BAPI.

Yes, editing seems to work fine for me.
There are unfortunately no logs that cover this aspect of TMS.

Hi All,
Got the problem cause.
The issue is because of the Participant ID used for External Participants.
In the below example, we use participant ID 1 – 3 for the save Conference request, on the edit request also we use the same participant ID 1 -3 and 4,5.
This makes the TMS not update the change in participant type for the Participant ID’s reused (1-3). But the new ID’s 4&5 are updated. Thus, we get the same participant type for the ID’s reused.
The best method to go forward is not to use the Participant ID for the External Participants. The same is suggested in the API Guide.
