I have a couple of questions about the TMS server, the stand alone appliance version.

1) I don't recall ever setting an sa password. What is the default?

2) Can I install the Provisioning Extension on the appliance?

thx,

rf

rf,

The default SA password on the appliance was 'TANDBERG'.

For question #2, this is the official Cisco response:

Cisco TMSPE may be installed on the now discontinued Cisco TelePresence Management Server, but note that system resources are limited to 2 GB RAM, which will reduce performance. We recommend using the server for small deployments only and ultimately migrating to hardware with more resources available.

Thanks,

Justin

Justin,

Thanks, that is what I thought it should be, but it seems there are other issues. There is some  "network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to the SQL Server" issue I need to resolve first.

thx

rf,

Is the TMS application not connecting to the SQL DB?

Thanks,

Justin

I see that error when I try to log into SQl Management Studio express using the credentials sa/TANDBERG

Can you give a try logging in using windows authentication in SQL Management Studio express and reset the sa password.

Hi

Did you try to type the correct instance name? Try to enable the sql browser service.
