Hi,
If we have a TP network with the followings
- 5 SX20
- 2 C60
- 1 MX300
- 100 users (Jabber video)
- 5 EX90
- 1 VCS Control
- 1 MCU
- 1 VCS Expressway
- 1 TMS
I know that in order to manage devices we have to add LIC-TMS-25 (we have more than 10 devices).
But what is the benefit to purchase LIC-TMS-PE-XX.
Thank you for your help
Best regards
Salim

The LIC-TMS-PE-25 would be for 25 provisioned devices. You would want LIC-TMS-25 for the additional 25 systems for TMS to manage.

PE licenses are for provisioning devices, like Jabber (or other devices if you wish to use provisioning instead of direct TMS managed.)

Thank you for your quick answer Zachary,
So I can use LIC-TMS-PE-25 instead of LIC-TMS-25.
Is it correct ?
Note that for Jabber Video I will use LIC-MOVI-100
Best regards

Hi salim
I think you misunderstood Zac's reply. You use the lic-movi-100 for tmspe. Pe licenses and movi licenses are the same. Tms managed systems licenses are for systems you add to TMS. But for example you can provision an ex60 via tmspe and use a "provisioning" license of the lic-movi-100 pool instead of adding it to TMS. Which is what Zac explained in is post.

Hi Magnus,
I understand that PE licenses and movi license are the same.
I need 100 movi licenses and I will purchase 1 LIC-MOVI-100 or 1 LIC-TMS-PE-100
My problem is about devices (hardware EP and VCS, MCU).
My TMS comes with 10 systems and I have to manage 16.
That's why I want to add LIC-TMS-25.
My question is can I add LIC-TMS-PE-25 instead of LIC-TMS-25 ?
Thank you
Salim
