Are you using the flat cable that comes with the codec to connect the Touch 10 to the network? I have personally seen a number of those fail, they are quite fragile from my experience. Try replacing it with a standard CAT5/6 cable.
Once the Touch 10 has been paired to a codec you should be able to survive a reboot no problem, that's why I am guessing it might be your network connection, but if that doesn't do it please provide more information, what codec are you pairing it to, what SW rev is running, etc.
