So can a couple of old Tandberg TTC8-01 be used for anything? They have HDMI outputs on it and power supplies are not a problem.
Just seems like such a colossal waste to toss/excess them given the optics are probably just as good as the newer CISCO codec cameras.

They are only 720p, not 4K like the newer ones, so they are not nearly the equal of new ones. You also can't control them without a serial connection (the later 12x cameras could be controlled independent of the codec with a Tandberg remote).
IMHO they are throwaway at this point unless you have a specific use case for them. You could try selling them but I doubt you'll find any buyers for a 12+ year old camera.
