turn off microphone pickup on quad camera

Customer of ours wants to "turn off quad camera mic pickup" I thought that there only really was pickup from triangulation and no real audio pickup. We have shure wireless mics in the setup.

Is there a way to turn quad camera pickup off?

You are correct: the mic array within the Quad Camera is used solely for SpeakerTrack calculations; it is not available for local or far end transmission.

They need to cough up more detail/context behind the ask.

As @Jonathan Schulenberg reinforced, the microphones that are part of the Quad Cam are for speaker tracking only, audio from them is not passed to the connected codec.   So there is no setting to turn the pickup off, as there is none to turn off.
