i encounter a problem.in a service provider network, the network manager config two ip address on a ethernet port.i config the pim sparse mode on this ethernet port and specify rp address for this router.

the router connect layer 2 switch directly.but some customer access service provider by one ip address which specify on ethernet port.and the others customers access internet by the other ip address which specify on ethernet port.but i found that the customer which belong to low ip adress segment can receive multicast stream.i don't know why and would you please tell me how to fix it.

thank you very much

You could try moving the RP to the ingress interface of the router (the interface that faces the video source).

Give it a shot and let us know.
