Unable to call using SIP protocol in standalone configuration

Dear Team,

We have a cisco Webex room kit pro, configured as a standalone. We are able to connect to conferencing using the H323 protocol, but whenever I am switching to SIP, media disconnected from the device after 5 seconds.

We engaged the firewall team for opening the necessary ports, but still, we are getting the same behavior.

Can anyone guide me on which side I need to continue the troubleshooting on?

Which logs will help us to identify the issue?

Does the endpoint have a public IPv4 address? If not, is the SIP dialog unencrypted and the firewall is performing protocol inspection to rewrite the IPv4 addresses and UDP port details in the headers and SDP body? If not this will not work. Cisco Expressway is designed to address this.

Hi,

Tcpdump or pcap file from RoomKit during your failed call give you a information to analyse and resolve your isuue.

The "Standalone" type of configuration is only designed to work for H.323, it's not recommended to use this for SIP.

Dear Team,

We configured both SIP and H323 protocols on the device page and selected H323 as the default protocol. calls were working fine in this scenario. also sometimes SIP calls also worked fine. now we selected SIP as the default protocol, calls are working as usual.  we kept the device under monitoring.

I will post here if I observe anything wrong.

Thanks in Advance.
