Unable to connect to codec - cisco c40

Hello All,

 

Touch screen is not connecting to the codec.

The touch panel have network connectivity.But it displays the message ( Touch screen has no network connection to10.XX.XX.XX )  when you enter the ip address of the codec to connect too.

please advice.

Do a factory reset on Touch and also make sure if the touch has correct network settings.

What software release are you running on the C40?   I know there were some intricacies on some of the older software versions (ie it would only pair for the first 30 minutes after the codec was powered on).

Have you got SSH enabled on the codec - it needs to be enabled for the pairing process (and make sure that the SSH traffic can traverse the network from wherever you have plugged the touch panel in to, to the codec's network port).

You could also try connecting the touch directly to the second Ethernet port on the back of the codec.
