Unable to limit bandwidth between two SX-20 units

Hello!

I have got 2 SX-20 units connecting directly to one another using IP addresses h.323. I want to limit bandwidth between the 2 units at 768kbps.

So I have manually done it as follows:

Settings > Call settings > Default call rate: 768kbps

Problem is that even when I have done this setting on both ends, I still get the call running at 1920kbps.

What could be the problem and whats the remedy?

I look forward to your help.

Hi,

Please try following commnad from ssh .

xcommand Dial Number: XXXXXXX Protocol: h323 CallRate: 768 CallType: video

Call will be connect on 768 .

Also check

xConfiguration Conference 1 DefaultCall Rate:768

In you case  I suspect you are using redial function from call history and previous call was connected on 1920 and it is taking same bandwidth for call.

Kind regards,

Dharmmesh

Thank you Dhamesh

Just as you mentioned I was placing calls from the call list using a previous call that had connected at a speed of 1920.

Now everything is ok.
