My SX10 was previously paired with touch 10 but someone changed network settings of touch 10 and now i am unable to pair them, when I enter the IP of SX10 on touch10, it asks for username and pass, and it is not taking default username and pass i.e admin and blank password.
I am giving manual IP to touch10 as we have a separate VLAN for VC devices, after the pairing loss i can't see DNS settings in network settings.
Can someone help me here please?
Thanks in advance.

In order to pair over the network, you must have a password defined. You cannot leave it at <blank>.

Thanks Justin.
It was supposed to be on same VLAN, i will confirm it from our network team.
Also why I am unable to see DNS IP address in network settings? Please note that i am giving IP manually, not through DHCP.
I have factory reset touch10 but still not getting DNS entry fields in network configurations.

Did they happen to change the admin password on the unit as well? This would stop you being able to pair the Touch10 with the default password. Are you able to log in to the web interface? If so, then it's the admin credentials you log in there with that would be what you also need to use to pair the Touch10 with.

Hello Wayne,
Thank you for your response.
SX10 is registered with Cisco spark cloud solution and I can login it's web interface by launching advanced settings in cisco spark control hub. And I noticed one things, once the device gets registered to spark cloud then it doesn't take default login credentials.
No one changed admin password on the unit.
I guess only solution now is to factory reset SX10, then register it again with spark cloud solution and then try to pair touch 10 again.

Hello JFerello,
Previously I paired touch10 with SX10 before registering to spark cloud, then someone changed the network configurations and it got unpaired.
I think now only solution is to factory reset SX10, pair it with touch10 and then register to spark cloud?
Thanks.

Hi.
I want to pair the Touch 10 with SX80 (already factory reset), but there is no "Pairing" on Administrator Settings of the Touch 10 screen. In this case, would it be better to update both software first? It seems that SX80 could be updated from WebInterface, but I don't see how to update the touch panel.
The current version of each software is as follows:
Version:TC7.3.5a93bdb1
Touch panel:TI7.3.5.a93bdb1
Thank you.
