VCS and Lync without CUCM

Hi folks,

Is there an Ordering guide explaining what is needed for VCS and Lync to interoperate? Customer has VCS and Lync and want to use Lync clients on VCS. The deployment guide recommends a third VCS (virtualised) but I'm unclear which licenses are needed.

ie do I need L-VCS-DI (VCS Advanced Networking) license? or just L-VCS-OCS?

The L-VCS-DI licence is only required if you're wanting to use the dual network interfaces on the VCS - which shouldn't be necessary for just connecting to Lync.

Also, make sure you're looking at the correct Deployment Guide as the requirements change between the different versions of the VCS Software (X7.2, X8.1), and some things require an Advanced Media Gateway as well as the VCS.

PS - This discussion would be better placed in the TelePresence section of the forums where the VCSes are discussed more actively than in the Video Over IP section you have currently posted to.
